Breakfast is served buffet-style. The breakfast includes a rotation of various hot menu items as well as fruit selections, cold and hot cereal, assorted beverages, and breads for toasting. Meadow Greens publishes a menu each month for the residents. Lunch and dinner are served restaurant style with the main meal served at dinner time. Guests are welcome to dine with their family or friends. Room service is available.
Meadow Greens fitness center includes exercise equipment, free weights, and classes.
Meadow Greens Van takes scheduled trips to Lynden shopping areas two times per week, with trips to Bellingham shopping destinations twice a month.
The Whatcom Specialized Transportation can be easily scheduled to aid transportation needs seven days a week. The Whatcom Transit Authority (WTA) router bus is also easily accessible at the corner of the Meadow Greens property.
Meadow Greens’ Life Enrichment Director will help to cater to your existing hobbies and help to make new ones.
The only utility cost you may incur is phone service to your apartment or if you so desire, internet service (WiFi.)
One day each month the housekeeping staff will do light housekeeping services in the apartment. This service will include vacuuming, cleaning the toilet and tub, mopping the floor, and cleaning the kitchen counter. Additional housekeeping services are available for an additional charge.
The Laundry facilities offer ironing boards, soak sink, and two washers and dryers located on every floor.
There is an on-site shop offering beautician services. Payment arrangements and appointments are made through the beautician.
Approximately every 90 days a podiatrist comes to Meadow Greens. Podiatrist payments are made privately or through Medicare.
Meadow Greens has 72 self contained independent living apartments offering a choice of sizes; Studio, One Bedroom, Two Bedroom One Bath, and Two Bedroom Two Bath apartments. Rental rates for independent apartments are reasonably priced and are all inclusive.
